Discuss, exchange researches on non-traditional security issues and the roles of young intellectuals in being proactive and in advising, proposing mechanisms, policies and actions to ensure national security, defense and the country's political - economic - social stability in the face of non-traditional security challenges in the process of deep integration with the world.
Dr. Nguyễn Thị Quý Phương co-chaired the Forum with Mr. Đào Ngọc Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Centrally Offices and Ministries (currently a member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Labour, War invalids and Social Affairs); Senior Lieutenant General Tô Lâm - Deputy Minister of Public Security (currently a General, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security) và Assoc.Prof. Dr Nguyễn Đắc Vinh - First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union (currently a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee & Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children).

The forum was considered an important activity of the Party Committee of the Centrally Offices, contributing sharp perspectives of young intellectuals of ministries, branches and central offices on non-traditional security issues – one of the important topics of the Formal Document of the National Party Congress in January 2016.
