Executive Committee of Vietnam Motorsport Association

In December 2019, the Minister of Home Affairs issued Decision No. 1073/QD-BNV allowing the establishment of Vietnam Motorsport Association. This is considered an important milestone for motorsports in Vietnam, including motorsport enthusiasts and pioneer organizers in the community.

On January 4th 2020, Vietnam Motorsport Association was officially established with the mission of building a professional and sustainable development platform for motorsport in Vietnam, with the participation of more than 171 founding members.

Vietnam Motorsport Association (VMA) is a socio-professional organization of Vietnamese organizations and citizens who have passion for motorsport, who operate and work in the field of motorsport in Vietnam, voluntarily established under the provisions of the Law.

VMA is established with the role of gathering, uniting, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of members, promoting the sustainable development of motorsport through practices and competitions; contribute to improving health, developing talents and enhancing the position of Vietnam motorsport in the region and in the world.

Only in the first term (2020 - 2021), VMA has led and oriented more than 20 member clubs to organize and operate professional and semi-professional motorsport competitions in the country; while professionalizing motorsport activities through building a system of regulations for all disciplines, developing professional drivers, operating personnels and supporting them to participate in international standard competitions in the region and around the world.
